Hello, I'm Dani.

​

I’m a natural light portrait and lifestyle photographer, dedicated to capturing the genuine, raw, and emotive moments that define the essence of love and life. My journey as a photographer began in 2011 on the east coast of Canada, after I drove across the country from BC to New Brunswick in under seven days. What was meant to be a short stay of three months turned into nearly four years, as I fell in love with the warmth and community of the Maritimes. I built my business there from the ground up, and in 2015, I made the decision to return to BC, where I continue to tell stories through my lens.

I specialize in weddings, boudoir, in-home and on-location family and couples sessions, as well as brand photography and sports photography. My focus is always on creating timeless memories that capture the true essence of a moment; whether that’s on your wedding day, a family outing, or a special milestone. I’ll do whatever it takes to bring out genuine smiles, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than making families laugh together.

When I’m not shooting, you’ll find me editing in my favourite loungewear, often with The Office, Schitt's Creek, or Parks in Rec in the background. I’m deeply inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and I cherish foggy mornings, sunrises, and sunsets; perfectly imperfect moments that elevate my work.

I am the proud parent of two wonderful children. Travel is a passion of mine, though I’m not particularly fond of flying. Having lived in four provinces, two countries, and on two continents by the time I was 25, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and the connections they foster.

Above all, I value meaningful connections, heartfelt conversations, and genuine moments of joy. I approach life with a sense of humor and a full heart, and I am committed to creating work that reflects the beauty of life’s most important moments.
